Blueprint for Learning selected as finalist in HeadFit Awards

Blueprint for Learning has been selected as a Finalist for the inaugural HeadFit Awards 2021 in the Ember Innovations Provider of the Year category.

This category recognises an external provider of workplace EAP services, technology solutions, consulting or training services that has demonstrated innovation, leadership and positive impact in improving mental health within New Zealand workplaces.

“Congratulations to Blueprint for Learning on behalf of our 2021 judging panel,” said awards convenor Grant Pritchard.

“The judges noted the number, variety and calibre of entries for this year’s awards, so your selection as a finalist is a well-deserved recognition of your creativity, courage and perseverance. Work like this is helping smash stigma, raise awareness and create a more mentally-healthy future for Kiwi workplaces.”

Blueprint for Learning manager, Angela Gruar said “We are very excited to be named a finalist in the Headfit Awards and to have the hard work of our passionate Blueprint team and facilitators recognised amongst so many outstanding organisations.”

The HeadFit Awards is New Zealand’s first national workplace mental health awards programme. They were established to celebrate individuals, teams and workplaces who are leading in the area of workplace mental health and have three primary goals:

• raising awareness of the critical role workplaces can play to support positive mental health for staff
• showcasing the work of winners and finalists to inspire and support other workplaces
• supporting the Mental Health Foundation as they work to improve mental health for all New Zealanders.

“The workplace isn’t the final frontier for better mental health, it is the first frontier. We all have a role to play. The HeadFit Awards are here to recognise Kiwi trailblazers and share their insights with other workplaces,” says Pritchard.

The winners are intended to be announced during Mental Health Awareness Week at a glittering Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on Wednesday, 29 September. However, the event may be delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
