Blueprint for Learning a finalist at NZ Rainbow Excellence Awards

Blueprint for Learning is over the moon to be named a finalist for the New Zealand Rainbow Excellence Awards 2022.

The annual Awards bring together organisations striving to improve diversity and inclusion for LGBTTQIA+ people and celebrates the achievements being made in workplace leadership, innovation, best practice and collaboration.

Blueprint for Learning is a finalist in two categories:

• ASB Emerging Award
• the Rainbow Tick Non-Commercial Sector Award.

Blueprint for Learning manager, Angela Gruar said “We are thrilled to be named as a finalist in two categories in the New Zealand Rainbow Excellence Awards. It is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to being a diverse and inclusive workplace and training provider, and our drive to challenge ourselves in the areas where we can do more.”

The ASB Emerging Award recognises organisations who are early in their diversity and inclusion journey, but have taken steps to clearly signal their commitment to rainbow inclusion in one or more facets of their organisation.

The Rainbow Tick Non-Commercial Sector Award recognises and celebrates organisations within the non-commercial sector who demonstrate leadership and innovation in rainbow diversity and inclusion within and/or across their sector

The winners will be announced at the 2022 Awards ceremony on Friday 30 September at Auckland’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The awards are a collaboration between The Rainbow Tick, the organisation that developed and leads the Rainbow Tick Certification system synonymous with improved inclusivity and safety in New Zealand workplaces, and South Pacific Pride Ltd., the organisation behind Winter Pride and the Pride Pledge.
