Lotta Dann
Project Lead
I joined Blueprint full time in January 2023, after spending 3 years as a contracted facilitator of Addiction 101.
My primary role at Blueprint is Project Lead for the Addiction 101 workshop, although I also support the design and development of many other trainings.
I am passionate about using my lived experience and skills to help people into recovery, increase understanding of addiction and shift Aotearoa’s damaging alcohol culture.
Outside of my Blueprint mahi, I partner with the New Zealand Drug Foundation to run Living Sober, a website that helps over fifty thousand people a year to manage their relationship with alcohol.
I have written four best-selling books, and in 2023 was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for my work in addiction-recovery advocacy.
I was born and raised in Ōtautahi, but have spent most of my adult life in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, currently living in Karori with my husband, sons and a black Labrador called Stanley. When I’m not working you can find me lying on the sofa watching reality TV.
