Consumer Representative Programme
Participants will consider a variety of roles in consumer participation from a service perspective, and will explore differences between representation, participation, advocacy and support.Key topics:
- Providing an opportunity to examine and discuss consumer roles within different organisational structures, (including issues of Role Strain)
- Clarify expectations of both service providers, peers and consumer colleagues
- Identifying existing and potential consumer participation opportunities
- Individual planning to navigate a way forward.
