For many consumers, the introduction to a management level position is both exciting and challenging. Consumer Participation at management level often requires further skills and education about this role and what it encompasses, including what your responsibilities might be and how to work with non-consumers in the management team.Participants of this workshop will:
- Learn the difference between a management and non-management level of work
- Be introduced to key management skills i.e. presentations, report writing, interviewing skills
- Learn effective techniques for working with non-consumers within your management team
- Learn the balancing act: how to effectively introduce change into a team.
