Are You Being Served?
This one-day workshop is focussed on customer service skills in the mental health environment and has been developed in recognition of the unique/distinct needs of the mental health sector.
Employing good customer service skills can often make the difference between a negative or positive experience of service provision, for both service users and other customer groups as well as for the service provider.
In this workshop participants will explore:
- Who are our customers?
- The variety of people we ‘serve’ and the importance of doing this well
- Customer wants and expectations of mental health services
- The do’s and don’ts of customer service
- The role of communication in customer service
- Strategies to improve personal performance when dealing with customers
