Criteria for entry
- You have completed the first year of the Blueprint Executive Leadership and Management Programme (ELMP).
- You have obtained credits from the two university papers undertaken into the first year of the programme. (EXEC 516, formally EXEC 700 and EXEC 520, formally EXEC 777).
- You hold a current management or leadership role.
- You can demonstrate a commitment to a career pathway in a leadership or management role in the mental health and addictions sector.
- You have staff reporting/supervisory responsibility.
- You have accountability for financial management.
- You are employed by a current mental health or addictions provider, and work for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- You can demonstrate a commitment to the future of the sector.
- You demonstrate innovation in practice.
Key Facts
- Places are limited to 25 leaders nationally.
- Leaders are sought from clinical, service user and generic backgrounds in any management or leadership role across the sector. The diversity of background and current roles guarantees an optimal learning experience.
- The programme will run from February to December 2010 exclusively from Wellington
- Applications to the AELMP will be accepted until 20th January 2010.
- Applicants must have completed the Blueprint Executive Leadership and Management Programme.
- Applicants will gain entry to the programme via a selection committee.
- Applicants may be asked to attend an interview.
If your application to Blueprint is successful you will be invited to enrol (for two papers) at the University of Waikato.
