Miranda Lintott
National Qualification Lead
Miranda is a facilitator for Blueprint’s two NZQA national certificates and she also delivers a range of one-off workshops. Her project management focuses on workforce development for supported employment and she is leading the fidelity review development.
Before joining Blueprint in 2009 Miranda worked in the education sector for 18 years. She started her teaching career in secondary schools, followed by six years as a programme director involved with teacher training and development in the tertiary sector. Miranda’s drive to help professional adults develop saw her change career paths, entering the mental health sector in 2009.
Ensuring there is application beyond the learning environment is essential to Miranda. She strives to challenge her participants to think about what they are learning and how it can be applied to their own situations. Action-based and evidence-based learning, along with reflection underpin Miranda’s teaching style. Understanding participant’s individual needs is key to the holistic delivery Miranda provides.
Miranda is studying towards a Certificate in Adult Learning and completing her Masters in Educational Leadership.
