Practical skills to enhance your practice as an employment consultant – EBSE2
This training uses hands-on activities. The aim is to support learners to focus on improving their skills in working with individuals using the evidence-based supported employment (EBSE) philosophy.
Learners of this workshop will:
- explore the EBSE principles
- discuss and review action plans for implementation from the introductory workshop
- discuss enablers and barriers to implementing the principles within their workplace
- practice a range of skills that enhance their ability to work towards the seven principles as a practitioner, such as developing career profiles, discussing disclosure, enhancing job search, having important conversations, or using motivational interviewing techniques.
Who should attend
This course is aimed at people with a supported employment focus within their job.
It is expected participants will have attended the EBSE1 introduction course as a prerequisite to attending this course.
