Applications to the current Executive Leadership and Management Programme are closed. Applications for the 2011 ELMP will be accepted from August 2010.
Participants accepted onto the Executive Leadership and Management Programme will have well-recognised abilities and will be committed to a high level of professional development. They will include people from clinical, consumer, and specialist backgrounds in any management or leadership role across the mental health and addictions sector.
Access to the programme is by application and according to a suitability assessment. Places are limited to 25 leaders, nationally.
The Programme will run from February 2011 - December 2011.
Individuals will gain entry to the programme via a selection committee. While this is primarily a postgraduate learning opportunity, participants without a tertiary qualification will be considered if enough relevant, practical experience and an ability to meet the requirements of the programme can be demonstrated.
Application Criteria

You hold a current management or leadership role, or can demonstrate a commitment to a career pathway in leadership and management roles in the mental health and addictions sector.

You have staff reporting/supervisory responsibility.

You have accountability for financial management.

You are employed by a current mental health or addictions provider, and work for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

You can demonstrate a commitment to the future of the sector.

You have a minimum of three years' work experience.

You have an undergraduate degree (not essential)
If your application to Blueprint is successful you will be invited to enrol (for two postgraduate papers) at the University of Waikato's Management School.
