Victoria Armstrong

Vanessa Valentine imageVictoria Armstrong is a highly motivated and successful Wellington businesswoman with a keen interest in physical fitness and health. She has a degree & double diploma in sports science and health from Waikato University and is an accomplished sportswoman, having represented both Wellington & Waikato in netball, and played rugby in Ireland. Her drive and dedication on the sports field is matched by her passionate commitment to business development and performance.

Victoria has a background in sales and marketing and has worked with radio, TV3 and TVNZ. Her TV portfolio of more than 60 clients included small businesses, through to large international corporations, spanning a variety of industries. One of her clients was the fast food chain ‘Subway’, which she signed up as a chain of 16 stores, for a small regional TV campaign. Within three years the company had 120 stores and budgets grew from thousands of dollars to multi-million dollar revenue and contracts. Victoria’s strengths in negotiation and her ability to build solid business relationships made her consistently one of TVNZ’s top sales people. This recognition inspired Victoria to leave the comfort of the corporate world to go out on her own.

In 2004 she started up 'U. Health', a mobile health training & consultancy business. At the same time she established ‘Fit to Front’, a performance and presentation company, delivering team building, media training and video production. Both companies flourished and engaged dozens of people around the country to deliver successfully to clients.

Victoria’s commitment, passion and energy, combined with her drive for top performance saw her businesses secure some top clients, including Air New Zealand, Shell, NZ Post, the Ministry of Health, SPARC, Te Papa, Yellow Pages and NZX.

Victoria is on the board of advisors for Future Vision a not-for-profit trust that builds leadership capability in the community and voluntary sector.
