Programme Overview

The ADVANCED Executive Leadership and Management Programme is available for anyone who has already completed the Blueprint Executive Leadership and Management Programme (ELMP).
The programme
- Incorporates the Let's get real framework
- Builds on the learning, networks, self reflection and academic experience of the ELMP
- Provides the opportunity for enhanced sector specific learning and the undertaking of two more university papers.
- Will be delivered as one stream from Wellington.
- Is very practical and promotes sustainable leadership outcomes.
- Includes two University of Waikato postgraduate papers from the Waikato Management School's Centre for Corporate and Executive Education:
- EXEC 521 Managing for Results
- EXEC 510 Growing Entrepreneurial Leaders (Download PDF)
On completion of the AELMP, programme participants will also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Management Studies from the University of Waikato.
Commitment
- Eleven months; February - December 2010
- A maximum of seventeen days of face-to face study. Not including 'Learning Sets'
- Expectations of two - three days attendance per 'Training Days'
- Travel, accommodation and expenses to attend sessions where relevant
- Projects, assignments, research and reflection to be completed in participants' own time.
Fees
$3000 +GST (Applicants needs to consider additional expenses associated with travel and accommodation).

Training Days
Expert facilitators (national and international) will lead each session, they are asked to create workshops that allow for regular and purposeful interaction that stretches and challenges participants as leaders and managers in an environment that values debate, innovation and challenge!
Learning Sets
Learning Sets will be allocated and again will form a key part of the programme. The emphasis will be on networking, support, group process and feedback. There is a strong expectation of accountability and contribution.
