Blueprint for Learning’s National Certificate in Business (First Line Management) is a level four NZQA recognised qualification.
The programme is nationally recognised as the career foundation for first line managers and emerging leaders working across the mental health, addiction, disability and social service sectors. Key elements of the programme include:
- Communication skills and introduction to management
- Leadership and team building
- Planning work
- Conflict management and problem solving.
The learning includes four short block courses of workshop time, as well as self-directed learning and assessment.

Each module can be delivered separately allowing learners to complete the qualification as resourcing allows . Therefore if an organisation wants to contract Blueprint to deliver parts of the course to a minimum number of employees this can be easily arranged.
