The National Certificate in Mental Health (Mental Health Support Work) Level 4

Course overview

Our 2012 intake is now open for enrolment

The National Certificate in Mental Health (Mental Health Support Work) is a nationally recognised qualification at Level 4 on the NZQA Framework. It is presented as a one-year full time programme.

Blueprint has developed a fresh, innovative new programme to better align our qualification with the needs of students and the mental health sector. All of the delivery, learning and assessments are designed around classroom and group activities, a theoretical case study and practical assessments completed in your workplace.

The course has five modules

  • Holistic models of wellness
  • Professional development
  • Making it real

If you are working as a Mental Health Support Worker or interested in working alongside people with experience of mental illness on their journey to recovery then the Blueprint National Certificate is for you.
