Maree has recently led the development of two new residential and community based mental health services for women experiencing depression, stress and trauma. Maree is nearing completion of a Postgraduate Diploma in Not-for-Profit Management through the University of Waikato. Maree has experience as a planner, funder, provider and consultant to the health sector. Her experience spans public health, midwifery, mental health and health promotion. Maree's track record is of seeing possibility and turning possibility into confident reality.
Other roles Maree has held have varied from volunteering in a small rural emergency health service to being a board member for a number of not-for-profit organisations. Maree has also played an active role in establishing rural support networks and adult education programmes to professional management roles in large non-government organisations in the mental health sector.
Maree's personal interest and study is focussed on ecology and developing sustainable systems.
