Blueprint for Learning Chief Executive, (Programme Coordinator, Executive Leadership and Management Programme)
Sally joined the Blueprint team in 2003 to lead new business development and to operate as the central coordinator for the Executive Leadership and Management Programme. Sally was appointed central/southern Regional Manager in 2005, and was promoted to Chief Executive in 2007.
Sally began working as an Occupational Therapist twenty years ago but primarily has held a series of management and leadership positions throughout her career in mental health both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom.
Sally has extensive experience in service design and development, project based planning and leadership, change management and business and service management. Key positions that Sally has held at Capital and Coast DHB prior to joining Blueprint included Team Leader, South Community Mental Health Team; Service Manager, Regional Forensic and Rehabilitation Services and Acting Business Manager. In the UK Sally worked at The Maudsley NHS Trust in London for six years. Her final role was as Day Care Services Manager (Head 111 OT), Camberwell Sector. Sally believes that vision, commitment, enthusiasm and innovation are integral themes for leadership.
Sally is a working Mum and has two children (6 and 5yrs) and her interests include food, wine, walking and movies!
