EXEC 521 Managing for Results

In this paper participants look at understanding and managing results at both the personal and organisational level. More specifically, the ideas and issues to be examined include:

  • change management - understanding the drivers for change
  • building high performing cultures
  • identifying stakeholders
  • understanding the relationship between knowledge management and performance
  • decision-making.

This paper also builds to the development of a business plan.

EXEC 510 Growing Entrepreneurial Leaders

This paper integrates three aspects:

  • personal growth, reflective leadership, organisational outcomes.

It builds on research on emotional intelligence (EI) and leadership to:

  • develop self-awareness
  • positively influence others
  • create forward-looking teams and organisations
  • explore the relevance of ideas from entrepreneurship and executive learning
  • identify the skill sets required for outstanding leaders
  • show how to customise them into personal repertoires for informed and effective action
  • test the applicability of course material through a short workplace project designed to embed the learning into everyday practices.
